Build a mold
Even using local manufacturing tools, we still need to purchase a specific mould for the compound parabolic trough. Without it, each system will need to be made by hand, take much longer, cost more, and not be as good as focusing sunlight. A $1000 donation is enough to get the right moulds and start mass production.

The tubes will be the most expensive. We could use plastics, but over time, they will perish in the sun. Therefore we need to use borosilicate glass tubes. A $5000 donation will help to ensure 250 tubes are ready for 250 systems to provide water for 250 families.
